Fairfax & Roberts is hosting an incredibly opulent Mother and Daughter High Tea experience that is like no other. Set against the stunning backdrop of our Fairfax & Roberts sparkling showroom, we’ve invited mothers and their daughters to an afternoon of lavish treats and artisan tea. Like a glimmering sea, our jewels will provide the scenery for this special High Tea event. Catered by High Tea Delights, guests will have a selection of the finest, daintiest finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, and delectable sweets. Only the finest French champagne will do for our guests, so they’ll enjoy a flute of Pommery champagne, one of France’s most renowned champagne houses. Pommery was built from a fledgling business into a empire by Madame Louise Pommery, a widower with a young infant daughter, in the late 1800s. She built Pommery into what it is today so that her daughter would always be taken care of. As we celebrate the bond between mothers and daughters, we thought this background extremely appropriate to serve at our High Tea! Illustrator Natalie Rompotis will immortalise this special event with mother and daughter live portrait sketching. Natalie’s work is inspired by the magical world of fashion and classic cinema, and is strongly influenced by french culture. Her work is on the website of Beyoncé, has been shared by Maison Valentino and Reese Witherspoon and, in 2015, Natalie was named Official Illustrator for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (#MBFWA). This is also an opportunity for you to bring along a piece of jewellery that you may be interested in having re-designed, as we will be offering a mini-consultation with our award winning in-house designer Julie Zou. Every design will be unique in quality as she meets with you to ensure that the design perfectly complements your personal style and vision for the piece. On top of this, one mother and daughter duo will win a lucky door prize on the day.
